💳 Payment Questions

💳 I have a prepaid card can I still subscribe?

🚫 Prepaid cards cannot be used sadly. However please email 📧 hello@gx06dyw.org.uk and we can process your membership by card.

⏳ When will my first payment be taken?

💸 Your first payment will be taken today.

🔄 When will my next payment be taken?

📅 Your membership will automatically renew 12 months from today. 🔄 If you cancel your direct debit your membership will cancel at the end of the 1st year. ⏰ Your next payment would be 12 months from today.

💷 Can I pay by card instead of Direct Debit?

💳 Direct Debit is our preferred payment method. 📉 This keeps our cost down and helps you remember your renewal. 💌 We can sometimes accommodate card payments. You'll need to email 📧 hello@gx06dyw.org.uk

📧 It says you'll confirm my next payment. What does this mean?

⚙️ GoCardless takes your first payment via a Faster Payment. 🔄 We then set up your Direct Debit to be taken 12 months later manually, hence it says we will confirm this.

🔒 The premises where GX06 DYW is stored is confidential and not open to the public.

🎥 Can I hire GX06 DYW?

✅ Yes. However we cannot financially gain. 📧 Please contact us via our 📧 Contact page.

👷 Can I come and work on GX06 DYW?

💰 Can I donate to the group?

🎁 Yes, Visit our 💷 donations page to donate.

🤝 Can I sponsor the group?

💼 Yes! We'd love for you to sponsor the group. 📧 Please contact us so we can see what agreements we can come to.

📚 I can't donate money but I have magazines/books/timetables etc. Do you want these?

📦 Yes! We'd be more than happy to take any old magazines, books, timetables etc as we can sell them on.

🛍️ Do you have any merchandise?

👕 Yes! We have an 🛒 online store with GX06 DYW products. 🔑 We also sell promotional items like pens and keyrings at bus shows/rallies.

🎪 Will GX06 DYW attend bus rallies/shows?

📅 Yes, Check out our 🗓️ events page for all scheduled appearances.

🚍 Will GX06 DYW be doing any free shuttle runs at events?

⚖️ This depends on event agreements. 📋 Each listing states if we're static or operational.

🎬 Can I use the bus for film work?

✅ Yes. 📧 Please 📧 contact us for details and requirements.

🎟️ Can I travel on GX06 DYW to events?

🌟 This benefit is exclusive to our 📋 members.

🎡 Do you run any local events?

🌈 Yes. We support Pride in Gloucestershire and host occasional free community events.

👨🔧 Can I come and drive GX06 DYW?

🎓 Volunteers may drive after training, 🚫 but we don't offer experience drives to the public.

🔧 I have some bus parts that may be useful. Do you want them?

🛠️ Yes please! 📧 Contact us - we're always grateful for spare parts.

🔒 Do I need to be a member to volunteer?

✅ Yes, all volunteers must be paid members as part of our agreement.

🚏 What is The Bus Stop?

🤝 This is a community on Microsoft Teams where members get exclusive news, events etc.

🧹 We offer roles in cleaning, 📱 social media, 🔧 engineering, and 🚌 driving!

🎟️ Is event entry free if I ride on GX06 DYW?

🚌 Travel is free but entry fees apply. 🎲 Free entries are allocated to drivers and randomly selected volunteers.
